Actor Amitabh Bachchan has left everyone intrigued with his look in Kalki 2898 AD. He will be essaying the role of Guru Dronacharya’s son Ashwatthama and this has raised excitement among the fans. As the makers announced Prabhas’ character Bujji during an event in Hyderabad, Amitabh was amazed to see the director Nag Ashwin’s vision and how he created a marvel of his own. Taking it to his blog, Big B was seen heaping praise for the director Nag Ashwin.

He wrote, “AND … Bujji the marvel has been released. The technology for KALKI 2898 AD, is the mind and work of the Director Nag Ashwin. How did he ever think this one out .. and how has he been able to accomplish this is a marvel in itself.” Amitabh ji then spoke about working on a project like Kalki 2898 AD and said, “When you work on such projects it is never known what the end results shall be. And as the days pass by, and the clips and finer points begin to appear. You wonder how in hell did the Director conceive all this. And the admiration never stops. Now .. I end this DAY .. with wonder and admiration.

A recent glimpse into the world of Kalki 2898 AD through Amitabh Bachchan’s character as Ashwatthama left fans in awe. Particularly with the stunning de-ageing transformation of the legendary actor. The character reveal video, a true pan-India teaser, showcased a blend of languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and English.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is set to be the biggest cinematic event of the year. The movie also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. Backed by Vyjayanthi Movies, it’s gearing up for its release on 27th June 2024.
